♢ IN THE BEGINNING...

At long last, I have put the domain I've owned for about 3 years now to use.

When I first set up this website, it was purely for the cool factor. Just to say I had my own website. It did serve the same purpose this one has, though. A place to collect everything I am working on or have worked on. I just had zero inspiration (and motivation) to make the website an experience in itself.

It existed and it functioned, and that was good enough for me at the time. Every once in a while I get a burst of motivation, and I'm happy to say this one has lasted me a good while. Every new feature I add builds onto that motivation and keeps me going. This version of the website, at the time of writing, has been about 5 weeks in the making.

♢ PURPOSELY...

I want this website to be more than just a portfolio. It needs to be a representation, a faux-time capsule of the early 2000's internet. We enter every website, every app, with a clear and stubborn goal in mind. When someone visits my website, I want them to enter with an explorative mindset. To press a button and see what it does, what it changes, what sound it makes.

So hopefully, I can keep that train going, because I am teeming with ideas.
